Tuesday, January 20.  The first trip of the year the group planned  was going to the Lily Peter Auditorium on the campus of the Phillips Community College in Helena to hear the Chanticleers, a choral ensemble.     The night's program featured a variety of spirituals, folk songs, and popular songs.

Wednesday, March 25.  The second trip planned by the group was going back to Helena to see and hear the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Fisher.  The Orchestra is supported by The Kennedy Center through a grant from the U.S. Department of EducationThe acclaimed National Symphony Orchestra will bring a varied orchestral performance to the stage. The night's program featured one of Wagner's most majestic overtures, Hungarian composer Leó Weiner's lyrical Serenade, and Three Dance Episodes from Bernstein's On the Town. The program concluded with Dvoøák's stirring Symphony No. 7."   Sponsored by Phillips County Community Foundation & Delta Cultural Center, A museum of the Department of AR Heritage.  www.kennedy-center.org/nso/community/arkansas_09.cfm

Friday, May 1.  The third trip was going to the  Lily Peter Auditorium to see “A Sinatra Tribute”, Tom Tiratto and Orchestra
.
Tom Tiratto has a remarkable ability to sing Sinatra’s repertoire with an uncanny sense of style phrasing and all of the mannerisms reminiscent of Sinatra. With his 14 piece Big Band and many of Sinatra’s greatest hits, it was a well-received concert.  This program was supported in part by the AR Arts Council, an agency of the Dept. of AR Heritage and the National Endowment of the Arts.    http://www.myspace.com/sinatratribute

Friday, June 12th.  The group went to Little Rock to tour the Witt Stephens, Jr. Nature Center located in the River Market Area.   After having lunch at Heifer International, the group toured their Headquarters and their new World Village.
